“Wedding in the Woods” encapsulates a quintessentially romantic British feel, especially when set on the most beautiful grounds of Whitehall Estate. Styled with a large round draped arch adorned with and intricate floral installation by The Beverley Flowers Company. The perfect inspiration for a romantic Valentines theme.
The Beverley Flower Company, a fantastic florist based in Beverley, East Yorkshire carefully created an array of floral displays for the shoot.
Bringing together a lovely collection of blooms, Clematis, Anthuriums, Protea, Antirrhinums, hypericum berries, Amnesia Roses, Black Baccara Roses, Stocks, Hellebores, Ranunculus, Scabiosa and Seedheads.
BelleBijoux used their rustic and rural surroundings to create a truly unique set up.
The tablescape was array with colour from the deep florals, chiffon runners, cold candle holders and cutlery, with the use of deep red candles adding richer tones throughout. All set atop a rustic trestle table from Top Hate Trestles, a new furniture hire company based in Beverley.
A table plan in the shape of a rustic wagon wheel sat nestled amongst the leaves and matching colour coordinated table numbers sat atop of the trestle table amongst the gold candle sticks.
The tablescape of dreams wouldn’t be the same without some fantastic food, provided by Saunt’s Catering. Who cooked up a storm for the shoot with the below menu.
Starter: Wild mushroom arancini with parma ham, garlic aioli, parmesan and a balsamic glaze
Main: Lamb cutlets with pea puree, goat’s cheese, asparagus, and pea shoots served with a lamb jus
Dessert: Strawberry cheesecake with chocolate shard, strawberry caviar and fresh raspberries and strawberries
The cake, painted in rich deep tones and highlighted with speckles of Gold stood majestically atop a rustic barrel. Sammy really does a fantastic job at creating a cake masterpiece that is both creative and unique.
Based in Hessle on the outskirts of Hull, Ghost Orchid Bride is unlike any other wedding dress shop in Yorkshire. They offer a carefully selected collection of exclusive designer wedding gowns, accessories and bridesmaid dresses from the coolest indie labels.
The Brooklyn gown is by a Canadian Designer called “And for Love”. Fully sequined in a dirty gold colour which is great for brides wanting an alternative wedding but it is also available in bright white and a shade called Disco (Silver) or iridescent.
